    Chris Kheun

Chris Kuehn started his artistic career selling wildlife paintings at the age of 10.

After Studying art as an illustration major at the St. Paul School of Associated Arts, he continued his wildlife art and illustration career.

Moving to northern MN got him closer to his inspiration and he started a new business, building furniture and cabin design.

Being exposed to "good" chainsaw art fueled yet another interest. He found that chainsaw art had more room for artistic expression than any art form he had found.

Chris has been chainsaw carving for 14 years now. He especially enjoys bringing his carvings to life with paint.

    Chris' Style

Chris is a true MN outdoorsman as well as a multitalented artist which shows in his accurate wildlife carving and transcendent painting.

Amazing signs, bears with huge personalities and delicate water fowl.

      Jason Soderlund

There is no other art that draws you into a flow state quite like chainsaw carving.

After finishing art school nearly 20 years ago, Jason discovered chainsaw carving and it stuck as a primary art form.  His carving has brought him all over the world and back to the midwest.  Having the “eternally fascinating and frustrating” medium of wood helps him maintain his passion.  Recently, he has been exploring the possibilities of sculpting wood with computerized machines as an aid.

Jason is part owner of Soderlund’s Wood Mill, a carving/furniture workshop, in St. Croix Falls, WI.

      Jason's Style

Jasons work is so clean and refined real eye candy.
